QML
QML (Qt Meta Language or Qt Modeling Language) is a declarative programming language based on JavaScript, designed to design applications that focus on the user interface. It is part of Qt Quick, a user interface development environment distributed with Qt. Mainly used to create apps that are targeted to mobile devices with touch controls.
A QML document is a tree of elements. A QML element, like the Qt element, is a collection of blocks: graphic (such as rectangle, image) and behavioral (such as state, transition, animation). These elements can be combined to build complex components, from simple buttons and sliders to full-fledged applications that work with the Internet.
QML elements can be supplemented with standard JavaScript inserts by embedding .js files. They can also be extended by C++ components through the Qt framework.
