After lengthy attempts to cope with JavaScript and its glitches in different browsers, I refused to write a WYSIWYG editor.
Thanks to the community (a survey was conducted in the public in VKontakte), which also shares my point on this matter. Namely, it is better to add a normal Markdown editor than Wysiwig.
At the moment, the current version of Markdown editor looks like this.
The most necessary functions were restored, namely:
- Adding links (has been improved since the previous version)
- Adding images (the dialogue received cosmetic improvements and the ability to use different dialogs was added)
- Add software code
Also added documentation for Markdown.
The rest of the functionality will be added later.
An important plus for the community. Markdown the editor used on the site has been added to the open part of the program code.
