Since 2009 it has been possible to pass the Qt certification exam and become a Certified Qt Developer or Qt Specialist. The exams and certifications have now been updated to cover the latest Qt features. In order to support quality education and preparation of Qt developers for exams, Qt Company is also launching an affiliate training program.
There are three types of exams: Qt and QML Basics, Widget UI and Application Engine with Qt, and Qt Quick UI. Candidates who pass the Fundamentals exam become Certified Qt and QML Developers. Compared to the previous Fundamentals exam, this exam tests basic QML knowledge such as elements, layouts, and user interactions that are required in the updated version. After the foundation exam, candidates can choose to be a Certified Qt C++ Specialist or a Certified Qt Quick Specialist, or even both. To become a Qt C++ pro, a candidate must pass the Widget UI and Application Engine with Qt exam, which tests the candidate's knowledge of streams, databases, XML and JSON, networks, the Model/View framework in addition to widgets. In a similar fashion, there is a Qt Quick UI exam that tests knowledge of several Qt Quick and QML modules such as Qt Quick Controls, the particle system, multimedia, custom modules, and the new Qt Quick types. In each exam, candidates have 60 minutes to answer a series of multiple choice questions. The Fundamentals exam contains 50 questions, of which 31 must be answered correctly in order to pass the exam. Additional exams contain 30 questions, of which 16 must be answered correctly. No coding is required, but many questions contain code snippets that must be understood in order to give a correct answer. Exams can be taken at any authorized center around the world. The cost of exams varies depending on the test center, so you should ask the test center where you are going to take the exam directly about the cost.
Certified developers and professionals will receive a printed certificate 2-4 weeks after the exam.
The best way to prepare for exams, besides writing a Qt program covering all curriculum topics, is to participate in a learning competition. Qt Company launches an educational partner program where the company supplies the most up-to-date educational materials to training centers. Здравствуйте. Подскажите, оплачивать ваучер прямо в выбранном тестовом центре? Можно ли загранник предъявить? Или свой паспорт, а заполнить транслитом? А то там пишут:
